World Future Energy Summit returns to expanded ADNEC

The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2009, held under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will build on its highly successful debut in 2008 to once again discuss and debate critical global energy issues, from 19 – 21 January, at the Middle East’s premier exhibition and conference venue, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

Since last year’s event, ADNEC has doubled in size to become the Gulf’s largest exhibition and conference centre. The venue’s recent developments will help to provide a perfect platform for the 15,000 industry professionals, 200 exhibiting companies and host of international dignitaries attending the second WFES to showcase various energy solutions and investment opportunities.

“The return of World Future Energy has been eagerly anticipated for many months. Last year’s event was groundbreaking as was duly recognised around the world, receiving a number of highly prestigious event industry awards. WFES organisers Turret Middle East, on behalf of Reed Exhibitions, have once again provided a line up of delegates and exhibiting companies of which they can be proud of and it is these delegates and companies which will ensure that the eyes of the world are once again on Abu Dhabi,” said Simon Horgan, Group CEO, Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company.

The World Future Energy Summit is the world’s premier annual international gathering for policy decision making, direction setting and technological exhibitions and investments in the realm of energy. The WFES conference will cover a wide range of themes, including green buildings, solar, wind, biofuels, ocean power, carbon management, waste to energy, clean transport, fuel cells, geothermal, and environmental strategy.
